3923 5742 d 5 h svoboda /trunk/ Keyboard driver overhaul -- organize by hardware structure. This is w.i.p. Modifier keys, as well as ppc32, ia64 and sparc64 will not work yet.
3922 5742 d 6 h decky /trunk/ make arch_pre_main optional, don't force any specific prototype
simplify boot process
mips32: detect number of configured CPUs in msim

3921 5742 d 6 h decky /trunk/boot/generic/ add min and max macros
3920 5742 d 6 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ add min3 and max3 macros
3919 5742 d 6 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ cstyle
3918 5742 d 6 h decky /trunk/kernel/ avoid ugly ifdefs in fpu1 test
3917 5742 d 7 h decky /trunk/ remove non-standard define
3916 5742 d 7 h decky /trunk/tools/ fix a flaw in deduction algorithm
3915 5742 d 7 h decky /trunk/ fix conditions (actually only CNF and DNF is supported, not arbitrary logical forms)
3913 5742 d 14 h decky /trunk/ mips32: basic SMP support
3911 5743 d 4 h decky /trunk/ dummy SMP support in msim
3910 5743 d 4 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/mips32/ eliminate non-standard -D$(MACHINE)
3909 5743 d 4 h decky /trunk/tools/ prepare to eliminate any non-standard defines
for each '#define name value' add also '#define name_value'

3908 5743 d 10 h decky /trunk/ overhaul pareas: use one single physical area for the physical address space not belonging to physical memory
3907 5743 d 18 h decky /trunk/kernel/ remove forgotten #ifdef arch
3906 5744 d 5 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ IRQ handlers are using one superfluous argument and an unused elipsis.
On the other hand, IRQ claim functions would need to be passed the instance
argument.

3905 5744 d 6 h svoboda /trunk/uspace/ Keycodes, keyboard events, kbd_event_get(). Keyboard driver now (formally) produces kbd events (press/release, keycode, mods, char) instead of just characters. In reality, the driver and client are only hacked to work with the new interface atm.
3904 5744 d 7 h svoboda /trunk/uspace/srv/ns/ Careful, call must be copied by value in ns.
3903 5744 d 13 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/ia32/include/ Fix ia32 build for Pentium 3 systems.
3902 5744 d 13 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Introduce a more platform-neutral name for programmed I/O.

The new API looks like pio_read_n() or pio_write_n(), where n is 8, 16 or 32.
The old API (i.e. inb(), inw(), inl(), outb() outw(), outl()) may have made
some people think that the interface is only to be used with the separate I/O
space. That's not the case. This API is to be implemented on all platforms
so that we can finally have really generic kernel device drivers.
