4377 5667 d 6 h svoboda /branches/tracing/ Merge latest trunk changes to tracing. (i.e. revs 3684:4374, huge). This time hopefully the real thing.
2787 6077 d 10 h decky /branches/tracing/ add dynamic linking, debugging and tracing branch
2170 6439 d 4 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Simplify synchronization in as_switch().
The function was oversynchronized, which
was causing deadlocks on the address
space mutex.

Now, address spaces can only be switched
when the asidlock is held. This also protects
stealing of ASIDs. No other synchronization
is necessary.

2071 6512 d 5 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
1888 6637 d 9 h jermar /trunk/ C99 compliant header guards (hopefully) everywhere in the kernel.
Formatting and indentation changes.
Small improvements in sparc64.

1787 6702 d 8 h decky / move kernel/trunk, uspace/trunk and boot/trunk to trunk/kernel, trunk/uspace and trunk/boot
1705 6729 d 15 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Added file with modules definitions and descriptions.
We are able to change modules order and their description in one place.

1702 6730 d 12 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Kernel doxygen comments updated.
903 6833 d 8 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/ia64/ ia64 work.
Add code needed for running multiple address spaces and location of kernel stack
after switch from userspace.

830 6853 d 12 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Make ASID FIFO for mips32 be allocated statically.
Make ASID FIFO for sparc64 and ia64 be allocated dynamically.
Fix ia64 to call asid_fifo_init().
All three architectures now call asid_fifo_init() from as_arch_init().

756 6863 d 2 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Memory management work.
Remove the last (i.e. 'root') argument from page_mapping_insert() and page_mapping_find().
Page table address is now extracted from the first (i.e. 'as') argument.
Add a lot of infrastructure to make the above possible.
sparc64 is now broken, most likely because of insufficient identity mapping of physical memory.
