2307 6392 d 14 h hudecek /branches/rcu/ Updated branch to latest trunk revision
2292 6401 d 2 h hudecek /branches/rcu/ updated to latest trunk revision, minor tweaks in tasklet.c
2131 6435 d 19 h decky /branches/ add development branches
2128 6475 d 16 h jermar /trunk/ Add arm32 architecture. The 32 suffix is used to specify that 16-bit Thumb
instructions are not used. The arm32 code is mostly composed of placeholders
that need to be replaced by real implementation. So far, the arm32 tree
only compiles. If run under GXEmul simulator, an infinit loop at the
kernel entry point will be entered.

2082 6496 d 23 h decky /trunk/ __asm__ __volatile__ -> asm volatile
2071 6501 d 15 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
2061 6519 d 22 h jermar /trunk/ Improve comments and fix formatting in (sparc64) TLS implementation.
Improve some comments and formatting in sparc64 uspace thread library
code.

Update required msim version.

2025 6538 d 12 h jermar /trunk/ Coding style fixes.
2015 6540 d 15 h jermar /trunk/ Rework support for virtually indexed cache.
Instead of repeatedly flushing the data cache, which was a huge overkill, refuse to create an illegal address alias
in the kernel (again) and allocate appropriate page color in userspace instead. Extend the detection also to
SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP syscall.

Add support for tracking physical memory areas mappable by SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP.

Lots of coding style changes.

1890 6623 d 0 h jermar /trunk/ - Create a dedicated slab cache for as_t objects and switch from malloc/free to slab_alloc/slab_free for
them.

- Slightly fix and improve both the kernel and userspace atomic_add() on sparc64.

- More TSB work on the sparc64 front.

1888 6626 d 19 h jermar /trunk/ C99 compliant header guards (hopefully) everywhere in the kernel.
Formatting and indentation changes.
Small improvements in sparc64.

1868 6635 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ sparc64 work.
- the syscall wrapper needs to use the "memory"
clobber specifier to prevent over-optimization.
- on sparc64, the user address space spans the whole
64-bit space and therefore the macro
USER_ADDRESS_SPACE_SIZE_ARCH, as it was defined,
overflows to 0
- stop using USER_ADDRESS_SPACE_SIZE_ARCH and define
MAX_HEAP_SIZE instead
- in our situation when kernel and user address spaces
are separate, the G (global) bit cannot be used
(there is no point in it anymore)
- add the DEBUG() macro to stdio.h; DEBUG() uses
SYS_IO and is a good debugging tool for getting
early userspace to work

1866 6636 d 15 h jermar /trunk/uspace/ Indentation and formatting facelift for libc.
Libc headers now have C99 compliant guards.

1864 6637 d 12 h jermar /trunk/ sparc64 update.
- Prototype userspace layer implementation that
at least relates to sparc64 and compiles cleanly.
- Fixes for kernel's preemptible_handler and code
related to running userspace.
- Enable userspace. Several dozen instructions
are now run in userspace! We are pretty near
the userspace milestone for sparc64.

1863 6639 d 15 h jermar /trunk/ Allow architectures to decide between inlined and not inlined version of syscall wrapper.
Implement inlined syscall wrapper for sparc64.

1801 6686 d 11 h decky /trunk/uspace/libc/arch/mips32eb/include/ sync mips32eb with mips32
1798 6686 d 12 h decky /trunk/uspace/ make uspace compile for ppc64
1797 6686 d 12 h decky /trunk/uspace/ dummy Sparc64 uspace support (it just compiles)
1787 6691 d 17 h decky / move kernel/trunk, uspace/trunk and boot/trunk to trunk/kernel, trunk/uspace and trunk/boot
1781 6698 d 18 h jermar /uspace/trunk/ Replace old __u?? types with respective C99 variants (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t, uintptr_t etc.).
