3403 5907 d 10 h svoboda /branches/dynload/ Merge latest trunk changes into dynload
2927 6029 d 11 h decky /branches/dynload/ added dynload branch
2725 6128 d 6 h decky /trunk/kernel/ remove config.memory_size, get_memory_size() and memory_init.{c|d}
the amount of available memory can be calculated from the sizes of the zones
add FRAMES2SIZE, SIZE2KB and SIZE2MB functions/macros (code readability)

2610 6210 d 4 h jermar /trunk/ Support for six syscall arguments for sparc64.
There is a minor stability issue which needs to be fixed (kernel panics upon entering kconsole from the
console task).

2462 6373 d 0 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Replace gcc-specific __FUNCTION__ with C99 __func__.
suncc's xregs=no%float can be used only on sparc64.

2460 6373 d 0 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Better infrastructure for building with different compilers.
Separate ICC_CFLAGS added, SUNCC_CFLAGS extended.

2454 6373 d 23 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ A bit of infrastructure for building with different compilers.
CFLAGS split into GCC_CFLAGS and SUNCC_CFLAGS.
As of now, there are no separate ICC_CFLAGS, but can be easily added.

2141 6443 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ The Ultimate Solution To Illegal Virtual Aliases.
It is better to avoid them completely than to fight them.
Switch the sparc64 port to 16K pages. The TLBs and TSBs
continue to operate with 8K pages only. Page tables and
other generic parts operate with 16K pages.

Because the MMU doesn't support 16K directly, each 16K
page is emulated by a pair of 8K pages. With 16K pages,
illegal aliases cannot be created in 16K D-cache.

2125 6488 d 0 h decky /trunk/ experimental support for Objective C
(disabled by default)

2071 6513 d 0 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
2009 6556 d 23 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Initial support for handling illegal virtual aliases on sparc64.
2008 6559 d 0 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ Add dcache_flush() function that flushes D-Cache on sparc64.
1911 6615 d 22 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Add support for interrupt mapping in the Sabre PCI controller.
Add support for PCI and EBUS interrupt mapping via the OpenFirmware device tree.
Unfortunatelly, the code is not capable enough to earn single ns16550 interrupt.
I suspect something needs to be enabled in the EBUS registers.

1903 6625 d 0 h jermar /trunk/ SMP stuff for sparc64.
Almost complete except for IPIs.
The absence of IPI support deadlocks
the kernel when more CPUs are configured.

1897 6629 d 7 h jermar /trunk/ Convert sparc64 framebuffer code to configure from the OpenFirmware device tree memory representation.
1896 6629 d 23 h jermar /trunk/ Convert sparc64 to detect keyboard and determine
its physical address by walking the memory representation
of the OpenFirmware device tree.

Add bus-specific functions that know how to apply the
"ranges" property to one component of the "reg" property.
Buses supported so far include FHC, EBUS and PCI.

1895 6632 d 0 h jermar /trunk/ More ofw_tree work and fixes.
Add ofw_tree_lookup().
Every ofw_tree_node now also contains a disambigued name which is essential for tree lookups.

1891 6633 d 22 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ sparc64 work:
- Experimental support for TSB (Translation Storage Buffer).

1889 6635 d 0 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Fix bug in mm/as.c:
- as_area_destroy() should not work with AS but as

sparc64 work:
- start implementing TSB support

1888 6638 d 3 h jermar /trunk/ C99 compliant header guards (hopefully) everywhere in the kernel.
Formatting and indentation changes.
Small improvements in sparc64.
