2131 6434 d 5 h decky /branches/ add development branches
2071 6500 d 1 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
1873 6632 d 2 h jermar /trunk/uspace/kbd/ sparc64 support for the kbd userspace service.
1842 6661 d 9 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ i8042 and z8530 separated, the tree compiles again.
Now there is some duplicated code in i8042.c and z8530.c,
but that can be eliminated in slower pace.

1841 6661 d 10 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Start reorganization of different keyboard drivers.
What seemed like a screwed i8042 chip appears to be
Zilog 8530.

The repository won't compile now. To be fixed in next commits.

1838 6666 d 6 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Add scan code map for Sun keyboard.
1787 6690 d 4 h decky / move kernel/trunk, uspace/trunk and boot/trunk to trunk/kernel, trunk/uspace and trunk/boot
1780 6697 d 5 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Replace old __u?? types with respective C99 variants (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t, uintptr_t etc.).
1759 6710 d 14 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Disable mouse on entry to kconsole. If it doesn't help
(like in qemu, which still generates mouse data), we would have
to let it enabled and filter out the mouse data.

1757 6711 d 10 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Cleanup of comments.
1754 6711 d 11 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Indentation and some improved comments.
Remove forgotten comment from gxemul.sh.

1753 6711 d 13 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Fix bad interrupt handling in kbd driver.
Read all data available on interrupt.

1708 6715 d 11 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Fix some broken doxygen comments.
1702 6718 d 8 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Kernel doxygen comments updated.
1474 6731 d 0 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added syscall that lets kernel regain access to keyboard.
1196 6776 d 9 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Printf ported back from uspace to kernel.
Printf calls changed to match new conventions.

1195 6778 d 7 h jermar /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Coding style changes for the last commit.
1194 6778 d 8 h vana /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Status testing version of clear-buffer routine for i8042
1193 6778 d 9 h vana /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ i8042 buffer full problem fix
958 6810 d 2 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Nicer ia32 interrupt handlers and structures holding interrupted context data.
Unify the name holding interrupted context data on all architectures to be istate.

895 6824 d 1 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ sparc64 work.
Very raw and fragile preliminary standalone keyboard support - polling mode only.
Because of a workaround in Simics, the scan codes are the same as on ia32.

894 6824 d 5 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Move i8042 driver to genarch as it might be used by more architectures.
893 6824 d 10 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/ sparc64 work.
Revive OFW console code and use it before the kernel switches to standalone console.

ia32 + ia64 cosmetic changes.

878 6826 d 8 h vana /kernel/trunk/ Active keyboard read for ia32
671 6880 d 1 h vana /kernel/trunk/ i8042 bug fix...
670 6880 d 4 h vana /kernel/trunk/arch/ia32/src/drivers/ i8042 command word init... It should work on ia32 but I have done it for Indy and I'm not sure it will work because on Silicon should not be the same software in universal microprocesor i8042. So if It will not work I'll remove it and will write i8042 AT function emulation.
623 6898 d 12 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Add SPINLOCK_DECLARE and SPINLOCK_INITIALIZE macros.
SPINLOCK_DECLARE is to be used instead of direct spinlock_t declarations
in dynamically allocated structures on which spinlock_initialize() is called after
their creation.
SPINLOCK_INITIALIZE is to be used instead of direct spinlock_t declarations
of global spinlocks. It declares and initializes the spinlock.
Moreover, both macros are empty on UP so that -Wall warnings about unused structures
get supressed.

606 6901 d 6 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Small kconsole readline changes.
Some mips tweaks to allow for real keyboard support in indy.

601 6902 d 2 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added some readline functionality to kconsole.
Arrows editing, history, tab completion.

588 6903 d 5 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added support for backspace
- printing '\b' should move the cursor one char to the left
- backspace key should return '\b' to application

576 6903 d 21 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Changed ia32 & amd64 to use exc_register instead of trap_register.

Fixed dependency list building. I hope you all have 'makedepend' installed,
if you don't it's time to install it, as CC -M builds the dependency
list without directory names..and it just does not work.

575 6903 d 22 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added generic exc_register/exc_dispatch functions,
copied from ia32 architecture. Currently only mips32 uses them.

The chardev_t can now be both input & output device (was
needed for serial driver).

Broken other architectures - ia64, sparc, powerpc will not compile.

Mips32 supports input on all msim, gxemul, indy(tested emulation
in gxemul, loses characters), simics. Simics serial line
is done using polling, I was unable to make it produce
an interrupt when the key was pressed.

552 6907 d 0 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Named spinlocks
534 6909 d 2 h jermar / Rename HelenOS/SPARTAN to HelenOS/kernel again.
532 6909 d 3 h jermar / Revert renaming of HelenOS/SPARTAN to HelenOS/kernel because of important pending patch.
517 6917 d 23 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Implement basic kernel console command recognition.
Commands without arguments are now recognized.

512 6920 d 9 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ SMP work.
Add madt_irq_to_pin().
Make ksmp() use virtual irq_to_pin() function, which makes better sence for ACPI configurations.

511 6920 d 22 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Enable dummy kconsole for ia32 and amd64 (UP mode works).
509 6921 d 0 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Basic keyboard support for mips32 (msim).
508 6921 d 1 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Basic keyboard support for ia32.
For some reason, keyoboard looks dead on SMP.

Make kinit() print "kinit..." strings in longer intervals.
