1474 6545 d 8 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added syscall that lets kernel regain access to keyboard.
1196 6590 d 17 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Printf ported back from uspace to kernel.
Printf calls changed to match new conventions.

1195 6592 d 15 h jermar /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Coding style changes for the last commit.
1194 6592 d 15 h vana /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Status testing version of clear-buffer routine for i8042
1193 6592 d 17 h vana /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ i8042 buffer full problem fix
958 6624 d 10 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Nicer ia32 interrupt handlers and structures holding interrupted context data.
Unify the name holding interrupted context data on all architectures to be istate.

895 6638 d 9 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ sparc64 work.
Very raw and fragile preliminary standalone keyboard support - polling mode only.
Because of a workaround in Simics, the scan codes are the same as on ia32.

894 6638 d 13 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Move i8042 driver to genarch as it might be used by more architectures.
893 6638 d 17 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/ sparc64 work.
Revive OFW console code and use it before the kernel switches to standalone console.

ia32 + ia64 cosmetic changes.

878 6640 d 16 h vana /kernel/trunk/ Active keyboard read for ia32
671 6694 d 9 h vana /kernel/trunk/ i8042 bug fix...
670 6694 d 12 h vana /kernel/trunk/arch/ia32/src/drivers/ i8042 command word init... It should work on ia32 but I have done it for Indy and I'm not sure it will work because on Silicon should not be the same software in universal microprocesor i8042. So if It will not work I'll remove it and will write i8042 AT function emulation.
623 6712 d 19 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Add SPINLOCK_DECLARE and SPINLOCK_INITIALIZE macros.
SPINLOCK_DECLARE is to be used instead of direct spinlock_t declarations
in dynamically allocated structures on which spinlock_initialize() is called after
their creation.
SPINLOCK_INITIALIZE is to be used instead of direct spinlock_t declarations
of global spinlocks. It declares and initializes the spinlock.
Moreover, both macros are empty on UP so that -Wall warnings about unused structures
get supressed.

606 6715 d 14 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Small kconsole readline changes.
Some mips tweaks to allow for real keyboard support in indy.

601 6716 d 10 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added some readline functionality to kconsole.
Arrows editing, history, tab completion.

588 6717 d 13 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added support for backspace
- printing '\b' should move the cursor one char to the left
- backspace key should return '\b' to application

576 6718 d 5 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Changed ia32 & amd64 to use exc_register instead of trap_register.

Fixed dependency list building. I hope you all have 'makedepend' installed,
if you don't it's time to install it, as CC -M builds the dependency
list without directory names..and it just does not work.

575 6718 d 6 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added generic exc_register/exc_dispatch functions,
copied from ia32 architecture. Currently only mips32 uses them.

The chardev_t can now be both input & output device (was
needed for serial driver).

Broken other architectures - ia64, sparc, powerpc will not compile.

Mips32 supports input on all msim, gxemul, indy(tested emulation
in gxemul, loses characters), simics. Simics serial line
is done using polling, I was unable to make it produce
an interrupt when the key was pressed.

552 6721 d 8 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Named spinlocks
534 6723 d 10 h jermar / Rename HelenOS/SPARTAN to HelenOS/kernel again.
