1735 6523 d 11 h decky /kernel/trunk/ make kernel prints case consistent
1724 6524 d 14 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/arch/ Let mouse work on amd64 too.
1702 6528 d 8 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Kernel doxygen comments updated.
1595 6535 d 14 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added kernel circular buffer klog.
Added automatic killing of tasks raising inappropriate exceptions.
TODO: Fix vsnprintf return value(and behaviour according to specs) and remove workaround in klog.

1477 6540 d 17 h decky /kernel/trunk/arch/ cleanup
1281 6570 d 0 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added means to make a simple action upon interrupt.
1258 6573 d 0 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added support for IRQ notifiactions.
- seems to work correctly on ia32, amd64
- the mips kbd probably lowers interrupts when the char is read from
the port, we will have to find a way how to deal with it.

1256 6573 d 7 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/ Improve SYS_IOSPACE_ENABLE support.
The general protection fault handler now contains
code to service early I/O Permission bitmap faults.

1196 6586 d 9 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Printf ported back from uspace to kernel.
Printf calls changed to match new conventions.

1100 6613 d 2 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Cleanup of spinlocks, now compiles both ia32 and amd64 with
and without DEBUG_SPINLOCKS. Made spinlocks inline.
Moved syscall_handler to generic (it was identical for ia32,amd64 & mips32).
Made slightly faster syscall for ia32.
Made better interrupt routines for ia32.
Allow not saving non-scratch registers during interrupt on ia32,amd64,mips32.
Aligned interrupt handlers on ia32,amd64, this should prevent problems
with different instruction lengths.

1060 6617 d 1 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added task_print.
Fixed ipc to support connect_me_to.

1051 6617 d 6 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/amd64/ Move amd64's ident_page_mapper() and page_fault() to page.h.
1050 6617 d 6 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Added null console for buffering output when no real output available.
Added identity mapper for AMD64 that allows whole physical memory to be
accessed before paging is initialized.

1021 6618 d 4 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Hopefully final version of interrupt handlers for amd64 and ia32.
amd64 has been especially tricky to debug.
Error code detection is now done in compile time.

958 6620 d 2 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Nicer ia32 interrupt handlers and structures holding interrupted context data.
Unify the name holding interrupted context data on all architectures to be istate.

825 6652 d 5 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Remove WAKEUP_IPI stuff.

Make it possible to use PAGE_GLOBAL on ia32, amd64 and mips32.
Make ia32 and amd64 map the kernel using PAGE_GLOBAL.

799 6655 d 1 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Preliminary work on AMD userspace.
769 6658 d 20 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ SLAB allocator now uses itself for all its internal structures.
Added description of allocator.
Removed messy_stack_trace from amd64, as it would scroll away important
part of exception.

703 6679 d 9 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Memory management work.
- vm.* -> as.* (as like address space is, imho, more fitting)
- Don't do TLB shootdown on vm_install(). Some architectures only need to call tlb_invalidate_asid().
- Don't allocate all frames for as_area in as_area_create(), but let them be allocated on-demand by as_page_fault().
- Add high-level page fault handler as_page_fault().
- Add as_area_load_mapping().

576 6713 d 21 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Changed ia32 & amd64 to use exc_register instead of trap_register.

Fixed dependency list building. I hope you all have 'makedepend' installed,
if you don't it's time to install it, as CC -M builds the dependency
list without directory names..and it just does not work.
