- Create a dedicated slab cache for as_t objects and switch from malloc/free to slab_alloc/slab_free for
them.
- Slightly fix and improve both the kernel and userspace atomic_add() on sparc64.
- More TSB work on the sparc64 front. |

Fix bug in mm/as.c:
- as_area_destroy() should not work with AS but as
sparc64 work:
- start implementing TSB support |

sparc64 work.
Define the istate structure.
Move the identity-mapping handler to assembly.
Make the preemptible handler more general so that TL=1 MMU exceptions can make use of it.
Little bit of formatting and indentation. |

Change hw_map() on sparc64 to use virtual addresses that are
beyond the end of physical memory. It is beneficial in two
ways: first, physical memory is no longer being wasted by
otherwise necessary calls to frame_alloc() and, second,
virtual addresses for devices are now correctly allocated
and do not overlap with the 4M TLB-locked mapping for
kernel text and data. |

Changed interface of frame_alloc/free to use address of frame instead of the pfn.
This makes it impossible to use >4GB of memory on 32-bit machines, but who cares... |

/kernel/trunk/generic/ |
Modify as_area_share() to accept destination area flags bitmask from the sender
(i.e. the sender can limit access mode to the shared area for the recipient).
Modify IPC_M_AS_AREA_SEND code to support this. Arguments for sender: arg1=as_area,
arg2=size, arg3=flags_mask.
The mechanism seems to work, but the page fault handlers need to be altered to
distinguish between faults under different access modes. |

Add used_space_insert() and used_space_remove().
These are the alpha versions of functions that
will help to map used and unused portions of address
space areas. Currently unused, but many as_area operations
will be more efficient when the used space B+tree map
is used. |

Complete implementation of copy_from_uspace() and copy_to_uspace()
for amd64 and ia32. Other architectures still compile and run,
but need to implement their own assembly-only memcpy(), memcpy_from_uspace(),
memcpy_to_uspace() and their failover parts. For these architectures
only dummy implementations are provided. |
