2078 6393 d 8 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ When invalidating entire TLBs on sparc64, make sure to also invalidate any (locked) global entries.
This fixes Ticket #21.
Fix a comment in start.S stating that the kernel installs a global entry for itself. All entries installed by the kernel
are local to some memory context.

2076 6395 d 12 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Beat the implicit illegal virtual alias created by reusing userspace frames.
In the anonymous and ELF backends, if the architecture has virtually indexed D-cache,
selectively flush cachelines belonging to the frame being freed.
This fixes Ticket #20.

2071 6397 d 4 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
2067 6407 d 10 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ More formatting changes.
2058 6423 d 13 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ Improve comments.
2055 6424 d 16 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ sparc64 work:
- No need to lock kernel stack and userspace window buffer into DTLB.

2054 6425 d 2 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Fix important comment in kernel/arch/sparc64/src/proc/scheduler.c.

Improve framebuffer code.

Formatting and indentation fixes.

2049 6428 d 12 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ More formatting and indentation changes.
2048 6429 d 5 h jermar /trunk/ Formatting and indentation changes.
2044 6431 d 6 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ On sparc64's tick interrupt, adjust the TICK_COMPARE register instead of the TICK
register. The TICK register now increments linearily and can be used by the get_cycle()
function.

2043 6431 d 6 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ Make the sparc64 kernel compile again.
2038 6432 d 2 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ Remove old stuff.
2016 6434 d 11 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ The D-cache line size is actually 32 bytes on UltraSPARC II, IIi (and also IIe).
2015 6436 d 4 h jermar /trunk/ Rework support for virtually indexed cache.
Instead of repeatedly flushing the data cache, which was a huge overkill, refuse to create an illegal address alias
in the kernel (again) and allocate appropriate page color in userspace instead. Extend the detection also to
SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP syscall.

Add support for tracking physical memory areas mappable by SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP.

Lots of coding style changes.

2010 6441 d 3 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ Fix comment.
2009 6441 d 3 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Initial support for handling illegal virtual aliases on sparc64.
2008 6443 d 4 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ Add dcache_flush() function that flushes D-Cache on sparc64.
2001 6447 d 1 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Indentation and comment fixes.
1996 6453 d 6 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Add option to compile the sparc64 kernel without the TTE_CV bit support.
The bit is not used by default now.
Enabling it may theoretically lead to physical memory inconsistencies until code that
mitigates the problem is written.

1994 6453 d 11 h decky /trunk/ Add BGR 0888 visual for Ultra 60
1993 6453 d 12 h decky /trunk/ make framebuffer code more generic
1988 6455 d 2 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ Update comment and move initialization code away from application processor codepath.
1987 6455 d 5 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ Take the possible difference between kernel and physical address into account in TSB and userspace window buffer
allocation and deallocation code.

1986 6455 d 9 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/drivers/ The FFB framebuffer looks more like 32b
1984 6456 d 4 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ sparc64 work:
- untested support for Psycho PCI controller

1983 6457 d 8 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ sparc64 work:
- fix computation of the frame allocator configuration frame
- mark the first physical frame unavailable, no matter what is its address

Because of that, we can now boot past the frame_arch_init() on the Ultra 60 now.

1982 6457 d 12 h jermar /trunk/ Modify the sparc64 startup code to not cause MMU traps before it takes over the TLB and
the trap table. Fix several PA2KA and KA2PA omittions or errors. Fix configuration to pass
the DEFS variable along.

1978 6458 d 4 h jermar /trunk/ sparc64 code to support physical memory that starts on non-zero addresses.
Still needs to be tested on systems with such setup.

1977 6459 d 1 h jermar /trunk/ Fix bad indentation in ofw.c

sparc64 work:
o Fix copyright in main.c
o Move code from unused parts of the trap table.

1976 6464 d 10 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ sparc64 context does not have to include the CLEANWIN register.
1975 6468 d 3 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ Typo.
1960 6479 d 4 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ Fix the following bug:

Ticket #3 data_access_exception after killing task on sparc64

1954 6480 d 3 h jermar /trunk/ Minor changes. Some coding style fixes and also a type (tee vs. tree).
One AS -> as change.

1946 6487 d 1 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ sparc64 work.
- Improve panic screen on data_access_exception
by dumping contents of DSFSR and DSFAR.
- Change the FHC enable interrupt code to only
set the IMAP_V bit.

1931 6489 d 5 h jermar /trunk/ Add support for IPC notifications even for polled ns16550 based keyboard.
1923 6490 d 4 h jermar /trunk/ Replace the old IRQ dispatcher and IPC notifier with new implementation.
Note that all architectures except for sparc64 are now broken
and don't even compile.

1922 6491 d 12 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ More IRQ stuff.
Modify the IRQ hash table functions to support lookup based on inr and devno.
Add method member to irq_t.

1921 6492 d 5 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Changes in ns16550 and z8530 drivers.
Add some stuff for IRQ notifications to irq_t.

1920 6492 d 13 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Move the new IRQ redirector to ddi/.
Add function for assigning unique device numbers.
Change sparc64/drivers/kbd.c to assign devno to keyboard.

1919 6493 d 4 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Prototypical implementation of new IRQ redirector in sparc64.
The new code can support shared IRQs in kernel (and multiple IRQs per device).
Userspace support is yet to be written.
The only architecture that uses this code is actually sparc64 only.
