1891 6527 d 12 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ sparc64 work:
- Experimental support for TSB (Translation Storage Buffer).

1890 6527 d 22 h jermar /trunk/ - Create a dedicated slab cache for as_t objects and switch from malloc/free to slab_alloc/slab_free for
them.

- Slightly fix and improve both the kernel and userspace atomic_add() on sparc64.

- More TSB work on the sparc64 front.

1889 6528 d 14 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Fix bug in mm/as.c:
- as_area_destroy() should not work with AS but as

sparc64 work:
- start implementing TSB support

1888 6531 d 17 h jermar /trunk/ C99 compliant header guards (hopefully) everywhere in the kernel.
Formatting and indentation changes.
Small improvements in sparc64.

1882 6532 d 21 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Support for sparc64 FPU context.
1881 6533 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ sparc64 work:
- find a CPU node and read its clock_frequency attribute
- implement asm_delay_loop()
- set TICK_COMPARE register according to processor frequency
- small improvements at random places

OpenFirmware work:
- two new functions for walking the device tree

Generic boot loader work:
- added basic string functions

Usual pile of indentation and formatting fixes.

1871 6540 d 1 h jermar /trunk/ Replace FB_BIG_ENDIAN with FB_INVERT_ENDIAN.
Omit tests for architecture endianness in deciding framebuffer endianness.

1854 6547 d 23 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Define architecture-specific thread sub-constructors and sub-destructors on all architectures.
Define the THREAD_FLAG_USPACE which means that the thread runs in user space.
The forementioned changes allow for allocating of user window buffer on sparc64
threads that execute in userspace.

A lot of formatting and indentation fixes.

1837 6573 d 2 h jermar /trunk/ Support 24bpp framebuffers with 4 pixelbytes (each pixel aligned on 32-bits).

At least on sparc64, the OpenFirmware linebytes property specifies the number
of pixels between consecutive scan lines of the display. Fix scanilne calculation,
including possible alignment.

Add note to 8bpp pixel functions pointing out drawbacks of that mode.

1812 6583 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/ move macro and cleanup
1802 6591 d 9 h decky /trunk/ cleanup and unify the build system
1787 6596 d 15 h decky / move kernel/trunk, uspace/trunk and boot/trunk to trunk/kernel, trunk/uspace and trunk/boot
1780 6603 d 17 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Replace old __u?? types with respective C99 variants (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t, uintptr_t etc.).
1776 6603 d 19 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/ Typos and indentation fixes for mips32 and some generic files as well.
1769 6606 d 12 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/ Change cache_error exception to take istate * as a parameter.
Make cache_error() print epc in the panic message.
Do not rely on the compiler to generate 'nop' after 'beq' in atomic_add()
and put it there explicitly.
Indentation fixes and cosmetic changes.

1754 6617 d 23 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Indentation and some improved comments.
Remove forgotten comment from gxemul.sh.

1749 6619 d 11 h decky /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/src/ remove forgotten address translation
1746 6619 d 12 h decky /kernel/trunk/ prepare GXEmul kernel to use the boot loader
1742 6619 d 14 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/src/ Fix bad booting address on MIPS when not compiled in debug mode.
1741 6619 d 14 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/src/drivers/ Fix panic if continue after non-initialized kbd.
1735 6619 d 23 h decky /kernel/trunk/ make kernel prints case consistent
1731 6620 d 9 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Updates in Doxygen-style comments.
Make architecture specific modules appear conditionally in the documentation.
Add time management module.
Improve names of other modules and sort module order
to be more like in the design documentation.

1705 6623 d 22 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Added file with modules definitions and descriptions.
We are able to change modules order and their description in one place.

1704 6624 d 2 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Fixed first letter size of subgroup name in Others.
1702 6624 d 19 h cejka /kernel/trunk/ Kernel doxygen comments updated.
1686 6627 d 23 h decky /kernel/trunk/ update mips32 boot loading API
1678 6628 d 18 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Load up to 8 userspace tasks on mips32.
1642 6630 d 23 h vana /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/src/ System info about machine
1627 6631 d 11 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/ Fixed size of mips processes, they are larger now.
1615 6631 d 18 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/src/ mips32 version of alignment-safe memcpy.

1587 6632 d 16 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ task_destroy() implementation, fixes in as_destroy() and task_kill().

1423 6641 d 20 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Update page fault handlers to distinguish between different access modes that had caused the page fault.
1411 6644 d 17 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Modify the hierarchy of page fault handlers to pass access mode that caused the fault.
Architectures are required to pass either PF_ACCESS_READ, PF_ACCESS_WRITE or PF_ACCESS_EXEC
to as_page_fault(), depending on the cause of the fault.
