2046 6409 d 20 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/include/ Another comment fix.
2045 6409 d 20 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/include/ Fix comment.
2044 6409 d 21 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ On sparc64's tick interrupt, adjust the TICK_COMPARE register instead of the TICK
register. The TICK register now increments linearily and can be used by the get_cycle()
function.

2043 6409 d 21 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/ Make the sparc64 kernel compile again.
2042 6409 d 22 h decky /trunk/kernel/ introduce uncounted threads, whose accounting doesn't affect accumulated task accounting
run tests in kconsole thread again

2041 6410 d 0 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/src/proc/ revert 2040
2040 6410 d 2 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/src/proc/ add forgotten btree_remove()
2039 6410 d 3 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/ accumulate task accounting, run tests as separate kernel task
2038 6410 d 16 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ Remove old stuff.
2037 6410 d 17 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/include/ Backout change from revision 2034.
sparc64 is not yet ready for get_cycle().

2036 6410 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/test/mm/ fix test function name
2035 6411 d 0 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/src/ more fancy kconsole output
2034 6411 d 1 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/include/ get_cycle() for sparc64.
2033 6411 d 1 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/ppc32/include/ get_cycle() for PPC32
2032 6411 d 1 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/src/proc/ proper initialization of last_cycle
2031 6411 d 3 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/proc/ fix comment
2030 6411 d 3 h decky /trunk/kernel/ thread CPU cycles accounting
2029 6411 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/test/ remove asserts and panics from tests
2028 6411 d 22 h decky /trunk/kernel/test/ cleanup tests
2027 6412 d 3 h decky /trunk/kernel/ cleanup kernel tests infrastructure
2026 6412 d 16 h jermar /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ipc/ Improve comment.
2025 6412 d 16 h jermar /trunk/ Coding style fixes.
2024 6412 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/test/synch/ remove static keyword
2023 6412 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/ add dummy cycle.h
2022 6412 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/ integrate rest of the tests
2021 6412 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/ integrate more tests
2020 6412 d 20 h decky /trunk/kernel/ integrate more tests
2019 6412 d 21 h decky /trunk/kernel/ prepare for new test infrastructure
2018 6412 d 22 h decky /trunk/kernel/ rename rdtsc() to get_cycle()
2017 6413 d 1 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/ia32xen/ update for Xen
2016 6413 d 2 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ The D-cache line size is actually 32 bytes on UltraSPARC II, IIi (and also IIe).
2015 6414 d 19 h jermar /trunk/ Rework support for virtually indexed cache.
Instead of repeatedly flushing the data cache, which was a huge overkill, refuse to create an illegal address alias
in the kernel (again) and allocate appropriate page color in userspace instead. Extend the detection also to
SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP syscall.

Add support for tracking physical memory areas mappable by SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP.

Lots of coding style changes.

2014 6416 d 21 h decky /trunk/ version bump to Xen 3.0.3 (not fully operational yet)
2013 6416 d 21 h decky /trunk/boot/arch/ bump to GRUB version 0.97
2012 6417 d 17 h jermar /trunk/ Eliminate confusion between SYS_MAP_PHYSMEM and sys_physmem_map.
The syscall is to be called SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP from now on and the functions that participate in its implementation are
called *physmem_map().

2011 6418 d 23 h decky /trunk/kernel/ resolve ticket #4
2010 6419 d 18 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ Fix comment.
2009 6419 d 18 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Initial support for handling illegal virtual aliases on sparc64.
2008 6421 d 19 h jermar /trunk/kernel/arch/sparc64/ Add dcache_flush() function that flushes D-Cache on sparc64.
2007 6422 d 17 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Introduce page colors. So far, only sparc64 uses correct page color bits. Other architectures have a dummy define
specifying zero bits for a page color.

There is a new check of page color in as_area_share(). Because of lack of support for this in the userspace, the
check has been #ifef'ed out.
