1806 6576 d 10 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/xen32/ fork directories
1805 6576 d 17 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/xen32/src/boot/ make Xen recognize the kernel image
1804 6576 d 17 h decky /trunk/kernel/arch/xen32/ fork Xen32 makefile and linker script
1802 6577 d 4 h decky /trunk/ cleanup and unify the build system
1794 6577 d 5 h decky /trunk/ move contrib from kernel/ to /
update Sparc64 toolchain to use Binutils 2.17 (neeeded for linking uspace)

1793 6579 d 18 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Change hw_map() on sparc64 to use virtual addresses that are
beyond the end of physical memory. It is beneficial in two
ways: first, physical memory is no longer being wasted by
otherwise necessary calls to frame_alloc() and, second,
virtual addresses for devices are now correctly allocated
and do not overlap with the 4M TLB-locked mapping for
kernel text and data.

1792 6580 d 7 h jermar /trunk/ Move functionality of tlb_arch_init() to take_over_tlb_and_tt().
Call take_over_tlb_and_tt() very early after the kernel starts
executing.

1790 6580 d 12 h jermar /trunk/ Remove OpenFirmware calls from kernel/ entirely.

Switch the sparc64 port to use bootinfo.

Copy memcpy from boot/ to sparc64 kernel/ and
adjust it for memcpy_from/to_uspace.

1789 6580 d 14 h jermar /trunk/ Fix ofw_memmap() in boot infrastructure.
The cell size is 32-bit and not equal sizeof(ofw_arg_t).
Define architecture dependant #address-cells and #size-cells for cases
the respective properties are missing in the OpenFirmware device tree.
The algorithm now works both for ppc32 and sparc64.

Add memmap_t, screen_t and keyboard_t to sparc64 bootinfo structure.
Be more verbose during sparc64 boot.

Move ALIGN_UP to generic part of boot/.

Change header guards in several places so that they don't contain double underscore.

1787 6582 d 11 h decky / move kernel/trunk, uspace/trunk and boot/trunk to trunk/kernel, trunk/uspace and trunk/boot
1784 6583 d 8 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Sync OpenFirmware functionality with boot.
Random cleanup.

1780 6589 d 12 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Replace old __u?? types with respective C99 variants (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t, uintptr_t etc.).
1777 6589 d 14 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Make sparc64 kernel assume it is loaded by our loader.
1776 6589 d 14 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/mips32/ Typos and indentation fixes for mips32 and some generic files as well.
1774 6589 d 21 h decky /kernel/trunk/ initial support for Xen
1770 6590 d 13 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/sparc64/src/mm/ Fix sparc64 to compile again.
1769 6592 d 8 h jermar /kernel/trunk/arch/ Change cache_error exception to take istate * as a parameter.
Make cache_error() print epc in the panic message.
Do not rely on the compiler to generate 'nop' after 'beq' in atomic_add()
and put it there explicitly.
Indentation fixes and cosmetic changes.

1767 6597 d 19 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Remove unneeded FRAME_PANIC.
Fix some things broken by last commit.

1766 6597 d 19 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Changed frame_alloc call, cleaned a lot of stuff, fixed some not-perfectly-correct error handling.
1762 6599 d 5 h decky /kernel/trunk/arch/ppc32/src/cpu/ ppc32 identify known CPUs
1761 6600 d 7 h jermar /kernel/trunk/doc/arch/ Upgrade amd64 hw compatibility list.
1760 6600 d 13 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/ Changed interface of frame_alloc/free to use address of frame instead of the pfn.
This makes it impossible to use >4GB of memory on 32-bit machines, but who cares...

1759 6602 d 22 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Disable mouse on entry to kconsole. If it doesn't help
(like in qemu, which still generates mouse data), we would have
to let it enabled and filter out the mouse data.

1758 6603 d 12 h decky /kernel/trunk/arch/ppc32/src/mm/ remove ASIDs from Page Hash Table
1757 6603 d 17 h jermar /kernel/trunk/ Cleanup of comments.
1756 6603 d 17 h decky /kernel/trunk/arch/ppc32/ don't use hardcoded PIC address

Remove forgotten comment from gxemul.sh.

1753 6603 d 20 h palkovsky /kernel/trunk/genarch/src/i8042/ Fix bad interrupt handling in kbd driver.
Read all data available on interrupt.
