2610 6070 d 18 h jermar /trunk/ Support for six syscall arguments for sparc64.

console task).

2607 6070 d 18 h jermar /trunk/ Support for six syscall arguments on mips32.
2606 6070 d 18 h jermar /trunk/ Support for 6 syscalls arguments on amd64.
2602 6074 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ Work around the way symtab.data section is constructed.
This fixes building of ia64.

2591 6082 d 18 h jermar /trunk/uspace/lib/libc/arch/ppc64/src/ Fix file included by ppc64's tls.c.
2586 6087 d 12 h jermar /trunk/uspace/lib/libc/ Unify implementations of TLS variant I and variant II __alloc_tls() and
__free_tls_arch().

2583 6089 d 13 h jermar /trunk/uspace/lib/libc/arch/mips32/ Change BFD_NAME from elf32-little to elf32-tradlittlemips.
2582 6089 d 13 h jermar /trunk/ Change BFD_TARGET from elf32-little to elf32-littlearm.
2581 6089 d 13 h jermar /trunk/uspace/lib/libc/ For architectures that make use of TLS variant II (i.e. amd64, ia32 and
sparc64), fix the way TLS and TCB is allocated. Now, TLS is allocated using
memalign() with the alignment specified in _tls_alignment. Size of TLS data
itself is rounded up to be a multiple of _tls_alignment.

2580 6089 d 14 h jermar /trunk/uspace/lib/libc/arch/ In all architectures' uspace linker scripts, define the _tls_alignment symbol.
2541 6120 d 22 h jermar /trunk/uspace/ Header cleanup.
Move off_t, size_t and ssize_t into sys/types.h.
Get rid off the non-standard and dummy types.h.

2528 6130 d 17 h jermar /trunk/uspace/lib/libc/ Modify parts of the build system and libc to support building applications on
paths with differing distances from lib/libc (e.g. uspace/srv/ns and
uspace/srv/fs/fat).

2482 6212 d 10 h jermar /trunk/ Goodbye pseudo threads, welcome fibrils.
The renaming might still be incomplete.

2479 6216 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ New, better-structured, directory layout for uspace.
2468 6226 d 16 h jermar /trunk/ Remove some forgotten \r from arm32 files.
Formatting changes.
Add some correct BOOT_mips32_* guards.

2465 6231 d 19 h jermar /trunk/ Merge arm32 into trunk.
2229 6291 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ Revert some of the changes introduced in revision 2209.
I think it is not correct to remove serialization of pseudo threads in printf_core.c.
With thread-level futex serialization, several pseudo threads running in one thread could easily deadlock
the task.

Add a dedicated futex serialization to thread1.c test only.

2192 6294 d 20 h decky /trunk/uspace/libc/arch/sparc64/include/ fix uspace atomic_add according kernel code
2141 6304 d 11 h jermar /trunk/ The Ultimate Solution To Illegal Virtual Aliases.
It is better to avoid them completely than to fight them.
Switch the sparc64 port to 16K pages. The TLBs and TSBs
continue to operate with 8K pages only. Page tables and
other generic parts operate with 16K pages.

Because the MMU doesn't support 16K directly, each 16K
page is emulated by a pair of 8K pages. With 16K pages,
illegal aliases cannot be created in 16K D-cache.

2128 6347 d 15 h jermar /trunk/ Add arm32 architecture. The 32 suffix is used to specify that 16-bit Thumb
instructions are not used. The arm32 code is mostly composed of placeholders
that need to be replaced by real implementation. So far, the arm32 tree
only compiles. If run under GXEmul simulator, an infinit loop at the
kernel entry point will be entered.

2082 6368 d 21 h decky /trunk/ __asm__ __volatile__ -> asm volatile
2071 6373 d 14 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
2061 6391 d 21 h jermar /trunk/ Improve comments and fix formatting in (sparc64) TLS implementation.
Improve some comments and formatting in sparc64 uspace thread library
code.

Update required msim version.

2025 6410 d 11 h jermar /trunk/ Coding style fixes.
2015 6412 d 14 h jermar /trunk/ Rework support for virtually indexed cache.
Instead of repeatedly flushing the data cache, which was a huge overkill, refuse to create an illegal address alias
in the kernel (again) and allocate appropriate page color in userspace instead. Extend the detection also to
SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP syscall.

Add support for tracking physical memory areas mappable by SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP.

Lots of coding style changes.

1890 6494 d 23 h jermar /trunk/ - Create a dedicated slab cache for as_t objects and switch from malloc/free to slab_alloc/slab_free for
them.

- Slightly fix and improve both the kernel and userspace atomic_add() on sparc64.

- More TSB work on the sparc64 front.
