2242 6297 d 5 h kebrt /branches/arm/kernel/ ARM has 16kB first level page table, so PTL0..3_SIZE constants added to frame_alloc and all achitectures
2212 6302 d 7 h kebrt /branches/arm/kernel/generic/ aux_printf redirection removed
2201 6303 d 5 h jancik /branches/arm/kernel/generic/ Alf: Temporary kernel hack ... redirecting kernel printf function to aux_printf to kernel prints was visible
2131 6316 d 10 h decky /branches/ add development branches
2128 6356 d 7 h jermar /trunk/ Add arm32 architecture. The 32 suffix is used to specify that 16-bit Thumb
instructions are not used. The arm32 code is mostly composed of placeholders
that need to be replaced by real implementation. So far, the arm32 tree
only compiles. If run under GXEmul simulator, an infinit loop at the
kernel entry point will be entered.

2126 6357 d 4 h decky /trunk/kernel/ small cleanup, more work coming
2125 6357 d 6 h decky /trunk/ experimental support for Objective C
(disabled by default)

2124 6357 d 8 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/ implement simple realloc()
2122 6363 d 11 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/ explicit typecast, fix signed/unsigned comparison
2120 6363 d 11 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/syscall/ specify syscall handler arguments
2109 6364 d 15 h jermar /trunk/kernel/generic/ Revert thread_interrupt_sleep() to waitq_interrupt_sleep().
I'd prefer that this, IMO, waitq related stuff stays together.

2107 6365 d 5 h jermar /trunk/ When clock() is called by an external interrupt dispatched by the IRQ dispatcher,
no spinlock can be held or the kernel will not be preemptive. This fixes Ticket #24.

Formating and indentation fixes.

2106 6365 d 13 h jermar /trunk/kernel/ Merge as_t structure into one and leave the differring parts in as_genarch_t.

Indentation and formatting changes in header files.

2105 6369 d 14 h decky /trunk/kernel/ move ipc structures to ipc.h
2103 6370 d 7 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ move timeout_t to timeout.h
move other helper types to thread.h

2098 6370 d 8 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/ avoid conflict with potential keyword
2096 6370 d 9 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ move thread_t to thread.h
2094 6370 d 9 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/ avoid conflict with potential keyword
2093 6370 d 9 h decky /trunk/kernel/ spinlock extern declaration macro
2092 6370 d 10 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ move cpu_t to cpu.h
2090 6371 d 9 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/proc/ cleanup garbage
2089 6371 d 13 h decky /trunk/ huge type system cleanup
remove cyclical type dependencies across multiple header files
many minor coding style fixes

2085 6377 d 12 h decky /trunk/kernel/ typedef elimination
2083 6377 d 13 h decky /trunk/kernel/ typedef elimination
2081 6377 d 14 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ another typedefs to anonymous structs
2080 6377 d 14 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ another typedef to anonymous enum
2079 6378 d 8 h decky /trunk/kernel/ remove some typedefs in favor of anonymous structures
2071 6382 d 6 h jermar /trunk/ (c) versus (C)
2059 6405 d 15 h jermar /trunk/kernel/generic/ Improve indentation and formatting.
2050 6411 d 16 h decky /trunk/kernel/ benchmarking with statistics (initial)
2048 6414 d 7 h jermar /trunk/ Formatting and indentation changes.
2042 6416 d 10 h decky /trunk/kernel/ introduce uncounted threads, whose accounting doesn't affect accumulated task accounting
run tests in kconsole thread again

2039 6416 d 14 h decky /trunk/kernel/generic/ accumulate task accounting, run tests as separate kernel task

2030 6417 d 14 h decky /trunk/kernel/ thread CPU cycles accounting
2026 6419 d 3 h jermar /trunk/kernel/generic/include/ipc/ Improve comment.
2025 6419 d 3 h jermar /trunk/ Coding style fixes.
2019 6419 d 8 h decky /trunk/kernel/ prepare for new test infrastructure
2015 6421 d 6 h jermar /trunk/ Rework support for virtually indexed cache.
Instead of repeatedly flushing the data cache, which was a huge overkill, refuse to create an illegal address alias
in the kernel (again) and allocate appropriate page color in userspace instead. Extend the detection also to
SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP syscall.

Add support for tracking physical memory areas mappable by SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP.

Lots of coding style changes.

2012 6424 d 4 h jermar /trunk/ Eliminate confusion between SYS_MAP_PHYSMEM and sys_physmem_map.
The syscall is to be called SYS_PHYSMEM_MAP from now on and the functions that participate in its implementation are
called *physmem_map().
